“Lizzy inspired me to write my first-ever Google review, she’s been that amazing! Lizzy is a warm, patient, knowledgeable dog trainer, and I’ve learned so much in her private lessons and two group classes, Recall for a Meatball and Triumphant Teens. In short, she’s been a wonderful trainer for me and Astro, and I have no doubt she will be for your dog, too!”

Triumphant Teens

Adolescent dogs can be challenging! If you're struggling with your "teen" dog's behavior — the bad decisions they make, the training they seem to have forgotten — this course is for you! Triumphant Teens supports you and your dog with strategies for management, training, enrichment, and exercise to help you live your best life together during this phase.

About Lizzy + Her Approach

I vow to use efficient, force-free, Fear Free methods in our work together. I will respect your time and financial investment. It would be unethical for me to make promises about outcomes regarding animal behavior, but I am all about honoring your goals!

I'll bring compassion, patience, knowledge, and kindness, and the very best training treats to every session—maybe a few laughs, too!

Lizzy has been the glue that has helped keep me, my husband, and our pup on the same page. She has helped us make sense of behaviors and situations that have been initially hard to understand, and she has translated the science behind dog (and parent!) behavior and training into goals and plans we can grasp and implement. Anyone who is fortunate enough to work with Lizzy will benefit from her expertise, experience, outstanding character, and boundless love of all things DOG!”

“Lizzy has been bringing compassion and light into Leo’s life (and ours) since he was three months old. Her expansive knowledge of dogs and dog behavior, from puppyhood into adolescence and beyond, is based not only on science and common sense but also on respect and love for each individual dog. After a session with her, Leo stands at the fence and cries as his favorite person in the world drives away.”

I believe in you and your dog and know you're doing your best with your current information.

Dog training is unregulated. Transparency is essential to building trust! You are always welcome to ask questions about me, my education, and any proposed training methods during our sessions.

“Our pre-adoption meeting was one of the most helpful resources when we decided to rescue our pup. We felt so prepared and supported from day one that it was a no-brainer to enroll in her ‘Recall for a Meatball’ class, too! I can’t recommend Lizzy enough - if you’re thinking about taking a class or booking a session, THIS IS YOUR SIGN!!
